It's almost 75 years to the day since Manchester Citizens' Advice Bureau opened its door to the people of Manchester; that was in the midst of wartime austerity. Now in 2014 we are doing our best to meet the needs of Manchester residents facing new forms of austerity and exclusion.
This means offering the same level of expert advice and support but there are now more ways to access the service. Firstly you no longer need to visit a bureau - simply give us a call on our Adviceline on 03444 111 222 and a friendly adviser will assess your problem, provide you with advice and information and if appropriate make you a face-to-face appointment with a specialist caseworker in either Debt, Benefits or Housing at a community venue near you.
We also have new ways to get the help you need though our digital services. Our website now offers links to a wide range of self help information. You can also email us directly for advice or use our new webchat advice service where you can have an online text conversation with one of our adviser in real time. All these are available at www.manchestercab.org.uk
