Manchester CAB AGM 2008

Manchester CAB Annual General Meeting 13/10/2008 Manchester CABs recent AGM held at the St Thomas Centre was a huge success. The event saw key speakers Cllr Basil Curley, and Citizens Advice Area Director Nick Bussey discuss the future for the advice sector. The AGM also saw the launch of our new Money and Wlefare Benefits service for service men and women, veterans and/or their dependents. Funded by the Royal British Legion and the RAF Benevolent Fund our new adviser Andrew Fitton will be able to offer specialist advice to those who need it, click for more information. This was the first Manchester CAB AGM to present our new Volunteer of the Year awards which recognised the excellent work that our volunteers have contributed over the years. Thank you to all who attended in making it an AGM to remember. |
